
GET Ready for Work
GETraining has partnered with local employers to offer young people a taste of what it is like to work in different industries. We have developed the GET Ready for Work {GROW} Programme, which imbeds both theory and practical learning into the workplace.
Our trainees are supported by a dedicated advisor who ensures they gain understanding of their working environment. We set clear learning & development plans, facilitate regular training sessions and provide full assessment services.

Getting into the Deatils
You can choose to do either Level 2 or 3, or you can undertake both modules over time.

Module 1 @ Level 2 addresses foundational work and interpersonal skills

Module 2 @ Level 3 is a more comprehensive application of customer service techniques and product knowledge
Trainees are inducted into the workplace where they will gain valuable on-job experience 1 day per week over 10 weeks. They will also participate in facilitated learning sessions with their dedicated advisor to support the achievement of the unit standards.
The trainees will receive a completion certificate at the end of each module in Customer Service Skills, and Sales & Service Skills. Once both modules are successfully completed, the trainee will receive the NZQA approved {GROW} Award.

Cost Per Trainee
Full Work Placement Package: $455 per module
Price includes facilitated interview process, work placement, uniform, customized learning material, facilitated workshops, student monitoring & observations, assessment services, NZQA reporting and an NZQA approved Certificate of Completion
Resource & Assessment Package: $285 per module
Price includes customized learning material, student monitoring & observations, assessment services, NZQA reporting and an NZQA approved Certificate of Completion
Resource & Reporting Package: $120 per module
